This year for Zhou Mi's birthday we will once again be donating to the charity Operation Smile in his name. Last year we had amazing support from mitangs and were able to donate $1240.18 to Operation Smile which surely aided them in many medical missions to provide facial reconstruction and medical support to children with severe facial deformities. These children that we have helped in Zhou Mi's name can now smile just as brightly as he does~ so we hope you will join us again this year to help even more children around the world!
For those who don't know, Operation Smile is a charity which provides free surgery to children born with severe facial deformities who would otherwise not be able to access it. One in ten children born with a cleft lip or palate dies before their first birthday, and those who survive suffer from hardship and discrimination, as well as ongoing health problems for the rest of their lives.
For just $240 we can pay for the surgery of one child, in the spirit of our smiley boy Zhou Mi we would like to give the gift of smiles to many children who can't.
We hope you will join us in this project, as a group of fans we have the power to give an amazing and life-changing gift to children all over the world. We think it would make Zhou Mi proud to know his fans are making a positive change in the world in his name.
